Problem with walmart online order12/5/2023 I don't drink I don't smoke, $8 is a couple cups of coffee. What am I supposed to do? A car, hell even the bus would cost more than $100 a year. If you bid high, a driver will take your order and just your order. If you bid low, you'll probably still get your stuff, but it'll take a while. Think about it like you're bidding for a driver to take your order. If you want your stuff on time, then I'd recommend adding a tip to your order. Walmart also has a reputation among drivers of not having the order ready when you arrive, and few things are more annoying than waiting at Wal-Mart for pennies. That's probably when the mix-ups happen, of course, that's if they weren't already mixed-up by the Wal-Mart pickers. For example, I'm not taking an order 8 miles for $6.50, but maybe I'll take two approximately the same distance for $13. What happens is that, if no driver wants to take a single order, Doordash will eventually bundle two nearby orders together so they can entice a driver to take two. That's probably why it's late and also why you sometimes get the wrong order. First thing you should know is that doordash drivers prefer orders with tips, and no one ordering from Wal-Mart thinks to tip (and I don't blame them because who tips the UPS or Amazon driver?), therefore few drivers will take a lone Wal-Mart order because doordash doesn't pay much without tips. ![]() Okay so I've delivered some Wal-Mart orders with doordash. So what y'all cooking for 4th of July? :-) Otherwise I'm usually at HEB, Trader Joes, or Costco when I can get there. And I'm disabled and don't drive (very well - for your safety). The delivery drivers are obviously stealing all this stuff.Īnd FWIW, I order from Walmart because there's no markup per item (they marked up EVERYTHING in the store before they launched this) and delivery is free when I order, and Pre-tips have been refunded the last two times. I highly doubt it's incompetence on the pickers or at the store level. Walmart is quick to refund all that you didn't get, but I'm kinda getting a sour taste in my mouth (even though they couldn't find my lemon juice). Now c'mon - how f'ing stupid do you think we are? Only the RTE foods ever disappear. ![]() 96 lbs), a 16 oz package of Bar-S BEEF bologna (in case they shorted me my Wunderbar bologna again), 8oz of Sargento swiss cheese, and the same family-size package of Doublestuff Oreos.īoy - SOMEBODY was hungry tonight!
